The final Sega-made football game on the Genesis drops the high price endorsements but maintains the tradition of its predecessors, and it offers a great way to get your 16-bit football fix. Solid gameplay and excellent presentation offer compelling competition to EA’s Madden.

VR Troopers

Considered by most to be second-string Power Rangers, the V.R. Troopers took a back seat to Saban’s premier team of heroes in all areas, including video games. It’s not easy for a game to become a hit when the property it’s based on is struggling against a media juggernaut. It doesn’t help when the game stinks, either.

Sega’s seminal ninja series sparked an arcade phenomenon and a franchise that’s lasted several console generations. The Master System was the first of the House of Sonic’s machines to get an installment, and it made Segaphiles very happy indeed. David Robinson’s Supreme Court

Sega’s second attempt at a basketball game was only slightly better than the first, but at least there were signs of improvement. There must have been a slight hiccup with the basketball license though, as Laker coach Pat Riley was swapped out (traded?) for San Antonio legend David “the Admiral” Robinson.
