Shining the Holy Ark
The Shining series debuted on the Saturn with a return to its dungeon crawling roots. Despite bearing some of the genre’s flaws, Shining the Holy Ark was a strong entry with great gameplay and presentation that set the stage for Shining Force’s revival.
Action Fighter
Action Fighter tried to be the Master System’s answer to Bally/Midway’s Spy Hunter, but it lacked the same charm and excitement. The result is an average game that doesn’t quite live up to its name. “Average Fighter” would perhaps have been a more accurate moniker.

The Dreamcast’s first online game wasn’t perhaps what people wanted, but the creative geniuses at Sonic Team gave them the one they deserved. ChuChu Rocket doesn’t show off the console’s power but provides hours of fun that can be enjoyed off or online.
Enduro Racer (Master System)
Sega attempted to bring Enduro Racer’s thrilling action to the Master System but sacrificed too much of what made the game such great fun. The result is a port that’s competent but not much more – and that’s just the Japanese version that didn’t have half the game removed.
