Everybody likes OutRun. The Ferrari, the music, the multiple paths; it’s all good. As one of the seminal racing games ever made, it has achieved almost legendary status. Ah, Road Blasters. Many an hour was spent by yours truly playing the NES version of this game years ago. The adrenaline-pumping speed and addictive gameplay made it something that I couldn’t stop playing. Now, a decade later, as I play the Genesis version of the game, I can say that the game is just as fun to play now as it was then.
Super Hang-On was released in 1989 for the Sega Genesis and was one of the first motercycle racing games ever released for that system. It’s a great version of the arcade classic that’s perfectly adapted for the Genesis, and the new original mode adds a ton of replay value to an already great title.
