There’s usually a lot of debate as to what the best Disney game on the Genesis is. Whichever one you prefer, there’s simply no denying the brilliance of Traveller’s Tales’ wonderful platformer Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse. Chock full of great special effects and very challenging, the game is one of Mickey’s best efforts.

Tempo
The 32X found some light-hearted platforming action with Sega’s off-the-wall platformer Tempo. It’s colorful and completely weird, and it’s also a 32X exclusive. If you own the little mushroom and are looking for a solid platformer for it, then give Tempo a try. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll scramble to lower the volume once the cows start yodeling.
Wani Wani World
Fans of Bubble Bobble will want to check out our latest review. Released in Japan, Wani Wani World was a single-screen platformer in the old school style. It was both simple and fun, and is worth trying out.
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
A legend returns…well, sort of. Pitfall Harry has been kidnapped, and it’s up to his son to save him. Activision brought the franchise back in a big way when they released Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure for all a multitude of systems.
Pagemaster
Disney is well known for their great Genesis platformers, but they weren’t the only one with such skills. Believe it or not, Probe Software came remarkably close with their movie tie-in The Pagemaster.
