Cheeto’s mascot made two appearances on the Genesis. While not the deepest platformer, the first game isn’t necessarily bad. It just doesn’t go out of its way to do anymore than one would expect from a licensed product. It’s short and unpolished, but perhaps there’s some worth here for the curious.

Chester Cheetah: Wild Wild Quest
Sonic’s success brought forth a deluge of mascot platformers, and many seemed more like cheap imitations that solid competition. Brand name characters were especially popular, and Kaneko scored a hit with Chester Cheetah of Cheetos fame. Unfortunately, his second outing drifted even farther from Sonic’s winning formula.
Fido Dido
Every publisher has a list of projects that never found their way onto store shelves. Though they were finished and tested, company politics or financial turmoil caused them to be shelved, for what was thought to be the rest of time. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology (read: internet), games like Fido Dido are becoming available for play.
