Game compilations tend to be popular because of the value they represent. Who can resist lots of games bundled together on a single cartridge? Value is what the Mega Games series was meant to promote, but the first installment’s paltry three game selection may not be all that enticing.

Interview: Torsten Oppermann (SoG Marketing Dir.)
During the apex of the Sega Mega Drive, Sega of Germany (SoG) was founded in Hamburg in order to further develop the market there. Until his departure in 1996, Torsten Oppermann was overseeing SoG’s local efforts as Marketing Director. As such, he not only had to face the freshly arrived competition in form of the Super Nintendo, but also handle the German launch of the Sega Saturn.
Teasers: Target Earth Returns!
The Genesis mech classic Target Earth is being resurrected by Dracue Software, a team well versed in the art of mech shooters. Slated for release on the Playstation 4 at the end of 2014, the game marks yet another attempt at continuing a Genesis series via crowd funding. Hopefully, this one will be more successful than the others. Read the Teaser for more info!
Teasers: New Super Fighter Team Releases!
Super Fighter Team is returning to the Genesis in 2015 with two more localizations! Gamtec’s Taiwan-only vertical shooter Magic Girl and the unreleased Epyx puzzle game Cascade. With bug fixes, English translations and the full physical release treatment, these are two more potential additions to your Genesis library.
