Lizardcube and DotEmu have brought us an inspired remake of one of the 8-bit era’s greatest games. With gorgeous new visuals, beautifully reimagined sound, and all the classic gameplay you remember, this new version of a Master System classic is a definite must-buy for any fans of the series or old school action titles. Wonder Boy lives again!

Shinobi (Game Gear)
Sega’s Shinobi series is recognized for its greatness on the Genesis, but the Game Gear is home to two excellent entries in the series. The first game features solid gameplay and great presentation, and it captures the essence of what makes the series so popular with fans. This is definitely one to have in your Game Gear library.
Rugby World Cup ’95
Are you a fan of rugby? If so, you might want to check out EA’s Rugby World Cup ’95 on the Genesis. It’s not spectacular, but it does a reasonable job of emulating the sport on the 16-bit hardware. There aren’t a lot of these games on the console, and this one is far from the best. Still, it’s worth spending some time with if you find it at a decent price.
