If you haven’t played some version of Ecco the Dolphin yet, you’re definitely missing out on a unique and innovative take on action games. The Game Gear version is a great way to get started with the franchise, as it offers all the gameplay and charm of the original, with some nice details added. While not as potent as its Genesis sibling in presentation, the 8-bit version of Moonwalker is still a good game that captures the essence of the musical legend. If you’re looking for a new game for your Master System and have some cash to spare, this one is worth adding to your library.

Lizardcube and DotEmu have brought us an inspired remake of one of the 8-bit era’s greatest games. With gorgeous new visuals, beautifully reimagined sound, and all the classic gameplay you remember, this new version of a Master System classic is a definite must-buy for any fans of the series or old school action titles. Wonder Boy lives again!
