Magic Knight Rayearth

One of the first games announced for the Saturn ending up being its swan song in North America. U.S. fans waited anxiously for the beautiful action/RPG that never seemed to arrive. In the end, they got a solid title that missed its window to really impress but was still a solid entry in the Saturn’s library.

LHX Attack Chopper

The Genesis hosts a slew of 3D military simulators, giving players the chance to pilot tanks, planes, and helicopters in flat-shaded, polygonal battlegrounds. Electronic Arts’ LHX Attack Chopper is one that has a decent game experience to offer if you can get past the slow pace and learning curve.

Black Onyx, The

Largely unknown to Western games, The Black Onyx is something of a legend in Japan and laid the foundation for many console and computer RPGs to come. It’s quite barebones now, but it’s remarkable that the SG-1000 even got the game, considering it was released well into the Famicom era.
