Aworg: Hero in the Sky
A neat little game released for the Genesis modem in Japan, Aworg manages to be fun despite its flaws. The sparse presentation is thankfully overcome by great level design and challenging gameplay, something maze/puzzle fans will appreciate. It might not be the most complex game around, but it’s one that’s worth spending some time with.
Hands-On: Sonic Generations (PlayStation 3)
In celebration of Sonic’s 20th anniversary, Sega has put together a birthday bash that brings the hero of old together with his modern counterpart. The game still shows the flaws of two decades of lackluster Sonic games, but it also shows something missing from the series for years: potential.
