Sega’s Toshokan modem service in Japan had a few titles that were released here, such as Flicky and Fatal Labyrinth. However, there were quite a few that never came to the west, and 16t is one such title. It has that early ’80s arcade flavor to it, and while there’s not much depth, its simple to play and can be fun for a while.

FIFA International Soccer
The World Cup may be over, but there’s plenty of soccer action to be found on the Genesis. EA sports has you covered with the first installment in its long-running FIFA series. This is the one that started it all! Later entries may have eclipsed it, but it was here that the groundwork was set, and it introduced four-player gameplay to the series.
Home Alone 2
Kevin’s back for another round against the Wet Bandits! Unfortunately, it’s the player who ends up all wet with this game. Unlike the first Home Alone, which was engaging and fun, the sequel is just a poor-playing exercise in frustration. Maybe next time they should just leave Kevin home for good.
Marko
Are you really excited for the 2014 World Cup? Well, the action doesn’t end when the last game is over! Why not check out Marko’s Magic Football, a decent little platformer by Domark. Who doesn’t want to use a magic soccer ball to kill bad guys? And you get to recycle, too! What more could you ask for? Turn off ESPN and play some Genesis!
Uncharted Waters
Ever want to take command of a ship during the Age of Exploration and seek your fortune on the high seas? Well, Koei’s Uncharted Waters lets you do exactly that. Build a fleet and fight others! Explore the world! Plunder and conquer! Win the hand of the princess! And all from your couch!
