Master System Reviews

E-SWAT (Master System)

Sega’s armored cops took arcades and the Genesis by storm, and they eventually set up a precinct on the Master System. Closer to the coin-op than the Genesis version, the 8-bit game provides a decent amount of gameplay with some decent presentation. It’s not as good as its siblings, but it makes for a decent addition to Master System libraries.

Dyna Brothers 2

Real-time strategy buffs who aren’t afraid of a little Japanese will want to check out Dyna Brothers 2. Charming visuals, engaging gameplay, and dinosaurs make for a neat little game that will keep players occupied for hours. The language barrier is perhaps the only obstacle to an otherwise excellent title.

Chuck Rock (Game Gear)

Virgin’s lovable caveman belly-flops his way onto the Game Gear, but he’s kind of devolved in the process. While the core (no pun intended) of what made the Genesis game is intact, the presentation and gameplay have suffered.
