Like soccer? Enjoy simulation games? Then we have a combination for you. Premier Manager brings all the excitement of the industry to your Genesis sans the gameplay, presentation, and excitement typically associated with the sport. It’s deep and involving but not overly exciting if you’re used to traditional soccer titles.
Genesis Reviews
It Came from the Desert
One of the more famous Genesis titles that was completed but never given a commercial release, It Came from the Desert has been freely available in ROM form for years. Cinemaware’s lost Genesis game may not be ground-shaking, but it’s worth checking out to see what could have been another addition to the console’s robust library.
SeaQuest DSV
THQ’s SeaQuest game tried to capture all the action of the show, and despite some neat visuals and deep gameplay, it kind of sailed under the radar (much like the show itself). The game is not bad at all, and those looking for a new action/strategy game to play might want to find a copy.
Moving Adventure Psy-O-Blade
Visual novels are few on the Genesis, especially in English. Moving Adventure Psy-O-Blade was one of the few that never saw a western release, but thankfully, some hard-working people in the Genesis community have fully translated it. Now, we can finally check out this unique space adventure, lackluster plot and all.
Summer Challenge
The Olympics come but once every four years, but you can compete whenever you want with Accolade’s Summer Challenge. It’s not be the best game to represent the timeless competition, but it’s not a bad one, either. There’s a decent selection of events and some impressive 3D visuals, if you can get past the controls and framerate.
