Yang Jia Jiang (Yang Warrior Family)

Long believed to be a bootleg, Yang Jia Jiang (known as Yang Warrior Family outside of China), is most likely a legitimate, unlicensed release. Details on the game’s development and distribution are scarce, as they are with most Chinese Mega Drive titles, but we can at least still review it for public consumption. Read our full review and see if this one is worth hunting down. Be warned though; there are a ton of pirate versions that are not the same, so care is needed to find an original copy.

Lethal Enforcers

Konami’s Lethal Enforcers is a fan favorite, and one of the best reasons to own a light gun. The Genesis version retains most of the charm that made the arcade original so much fun, despite suffering the downgrade that usually happens during the porting process. It’s just as tough as the coin-op too, but thankfully no quarters are needed to play. Read our full review for all the details and ask yourself, do you feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?

Tony La Russa Baseball

The baseball season’s winding down, and soon we’ll be heading to the Fall Classic. Too bad the word “classic” doesn’t apply to Electronic Arts’ Tony La Russa Baseball. It does absolutely nothing to stand out. That wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t play so darn slow. Compared to other baseball games on the Genesis at the time, it’s not really worth a lot of your time

Final Zone

Wolfteam released so many games for the Genesis that it’s a miracle it found time to do anything else. Game after game made its way to our little console, and while some are better than others, most are worth checking out in some way or another. Take Final Zone, for example. With its complex gameplay and isometric view, it probably turned off a lot of gamers, but look deeper and there’s a decent game to be found.
