You’d think that with the amount of fame Mega Man enjoyed during the 8-bit era, the dude would get his shot on the Genesis once Capcom openly supported the platform. Genesis Reviews
Paperboy
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 20 years, you’ve undoubtedly played Paperboy. A little slice of Americana that was put into digital form, it gave youths everywhere free reign to smash people’s windows without having to worry about consequences. Thankfully, Tengen gave Genesis owners a port that was very faithful to the original, and we have a full review that shows how they compare.
X-Men
There must be what, about 400 X-Men right now? Good thing you only have to worry about four in Sega’s mega hit game based on those oft-troubled mutants. Back when any licensed game was almost guaranteed to stink, X-Men was a pleasant surprise. Read our full review or else, bub.
M-1 Abrams Battle Tank
A full-blown 3D simulation on my Genesis? Not exactly, but close enough, I’d wager. If only the gameplay were as impressive as the concept itself. In any case, M-1 Abrams Battle Tank is fun for a while, even with its limitations. Read our full review and get ready to pretend that the Communists are still a threat.
NBA Jam Tournament Edition
Appearing on several platforms, NBA Jam Tournament Edition was a big sequel to one of Acclaim’s greatest franchises. The Genesis version was a fan favorite, and our complete write up tells why. Pump up those Reeboks and check your flat top, because it’s game time!
