May is done, and now is the time for summer fun and relaxation. What better way to bring in summer weather than to ignore it completely by staying indoors and playing video games! For almost a decade, these fine people have gathered yearly to see which among them will be crowned king of everything 16-bit. This year was no exception, and there were plenty on hand to witness the coronation of a new champion!

Starting as an illustrator working on the Genesis, Sega CD, and PICO, Kristen Harvey found herself doing many different tasks, like managing other artists and even designing Sega of America’s first website.
