Classic Interview: Yoshiki Kawasaki (Flicky Designer)

This interview about the design of Flicky was originally published in May 2002 as part of Sega of Japan’s Masterpiece Album series, which featured comprehensive talks with some of Sega’s brightest Japanese arcade and console designers. It was translated as research material for the Flicky section of the book The Sega Arcade Revolution: A History in 62 Games.

Classic Interview: Ken Sugimori (Pulseman Director & Designer)

Before he made everyone feel the need to “catch ’em all,” Ken Sugimori released a great 16-bit platformer featuring a super hero named Pulseman for the Mega Drive. He spoke about its Virtual Console release with Sega of Japan’s Sega Voice in 2007, and Sega-16 is happy to present the translated interview for your enjoyment.
