Preview: Shadow of the Beast (PS4)
The Shadow of the Beast reboot surfaced at this year’s Gamescon Conference in Cologne, Germany. More environments and gameplay were shown, and a clearer image of what to expect emerged. Does it look to be something worth anticipating? Read our preview and find out!
Lemmings (Master System)
Psygnosis’ lovable little lemmings march their way onto the Master System! Though it suffers a few changes in the conversion process, the 8-bit version of the computer classic plays in fine form on Sega’s machine. If you want to try a new puzzle game, then this is one you definitely want to add to your Master System library.
Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar
Think you’ve finished all the RPGs on the Master System? We bet you haven’t played this one, especially if you’re in North America. As the only Ultima game to come to Sega’s 8-bit wonder, Quest for the Avatar brought a entirely different take on the console RPG genre and offered a massive world with an intricate morality system. It’s definitely a must-play for RPG fans!
World Class Leaderboard Golf
The Genesis isn’t wanting for golf games, and there are enough around for the average fan to find one that suits a personal preference. U.S. Gold’s World Class Leaderboard Golf is a decent entry into the genre, but it lacks the presentation that could have put it in the upper tier of console golf games. Still if you’re a fan, it’s worth some playtime.
