Burning Fists

Sometimes, games get canceled for a reason, and Burning Fists is a prime example. Even finished, it would have been a less than mediocre fighter, but in its semi-beta state, its almost too poor to warrant playing. Unless you just have to have every Sega CD game and don’t mind playing what is essentially a late beta, stay away!

Ultimate Soccer

There are plenty of soccer titles on the Genesis, but few match the monsters that are FIFA and Sensible Soccer. Rage Software’s Ultimate Soccer made a dash for the cup, but it was ultimately eliminated due to an unintuitive camera, poor presentation, and mediocre gameplay.

Super Kick-Off

Soccer is the world’s most popular sports, but that doesn’t exempt it from crappy games! There have been more than a fair share of duds from publishers over the year, and Super Kick Off sits comfortably on that list. Hey, it’s made by Tiertex! Need I say more?

Space Ace

If you haven’t already experienced one of the dozen or so ways to play Space Ace that are already out there, there’s always the Sega CD version. Grainier and in lower resolution than most other versions, it’s probably still the cheapest, and the video quality isn’t really all that bad compared to other Sega CD FMV games. Just don’t expect arcade perfection, and the game can actually be enjoyable.
