The mouse is back! Sega and Disney have once again teamed up, and the result is a re-imagining of a true Genesis classic. Modern technology and tried and true platforming come together to create what we hope will be a watermark for bringing classic games onto modern consoles. One would think that a basketball game feature two of the greatest athletes to ever play would be a no-brainer for greatness. Unfortunately, Electronic Arts proved us wrong. Stiff, unintuitive gameplay overshadows some excellent presentation, and what should have been the definitive version of One-on-One ends up bench-warming for all the others instead.

Kevin Seghetti knows all about that, as he was involved in the creation the Razorsoft titles TechnoCop & Stormlord. He also worked with the Master System and SNES.

For more than a decade, Joe Miller has been seen almost exclusively as the virtual father of the 32X. What most people don’t know is that his role at Sega as Senior Vice President of Product Development was mostly software-driven, and though he saw the launch of almost a half-dozen platforms, he oversaw over a hundred in-house games and was involved with everything from the Sega Channel to the Multimedia Studio.
